RECIPE: Healthylicious Thin Mint Smoothie {healthier twist on the Girl Scouts cookie classic}

Happy St. Patty's Day!!! 

I dunno 'bout you, but 
I'll be celebrating my Irish pride with a Guinness and my Healthylicious Thin Mint Smoothie... It's a healthy twist on the good ole Girl Scout Cookie classic: Thin Mints™. And it tastes like a yummy milkshake, BUT it's healthier and kinder on your belly...

Make the luck o' the Irish be with your liver, on March 17th and always! ;-)


~ 1 Cup Water/Unsweetened Almond Milk
~ 1/4 Cup Fresh Organic Mint
~ 1 Banana 
~ 2 Tablespoons of Raw Cacao (I like Navitas Naturals Cacao Powder)
~ 1/8 Teaspoon of Peppermint Extract (I like Simply Organic Peppermint Flavor)
~ 2 Cups of Ice


~ Blender / VitaMix / Nutribullet
~ Knife
~ Cutting Board
~ Measuring Spoons
~ Measuring Cup

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 1 person 


1. Pour water/almond milk into the blender.
2. Wash, chop and toss mint into the blender.
3. Add remaining ingredients into the blender and blend.
4. If desired, add ice and blend.
5. Enjoy!!!

Mint is an herb originating from Asia and the Mediterranean. Rich in many vitamins and minerals, it's often used as a digestive aid. Oh, and it's not bad on your breath either!
