RECIPE: Pumpkin Pie Smoothie {Dairy-Free}

I've been getting the "What do you put in your smoothies?" question a lot lately, so I thought I'd share one of my FAVORITE fall smoothie recipes...

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie!!!

I made it at the Bent On Learning Holiday Benefit and the guests LOVED it! {BOL is one of yoga queen, Hilaria Baldwin's, favorite yoga charities.}

It's easy peasy to make and it serves as a yummylicious breakfast, snack, post-workout refuel, or dessert. Trust me when I say, it tastes a heck of a lot better than it looks!

Nitty Gritty Nutrition Facts:

* Pumpkin is a good source of the following Minerals and Vitamins:

Lutein ~ A vitamin that helps combat free radicals that particularly protect eyesight. Did ya know? Lutein comes from the Latin name 'luteus' that means "yellow or gold," its natural color.
Phosphorus ~ A mineral that makes up 1% of a person's total body weight. Present in EVERY cell of the body, but mostly found in the bones and teeth.

It's ALSO a good source of protein and vitamin K. {What's vitamin K good for?}.

Sooo, what do ya think?! Better than pumpkin pie?? It sho is healthier!!
