This past weekend I took a trip to Morocco for ONLY $15! Confession: I went to the grocery store and bought ingredients for Moroccan Chicken Tagine with Prunes and cooked up a storm in my apartment... Here's the recipe.
~ 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
~ 1 Yellow Onion
~ 4 Chicken Breasts
~ 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
~ 1/2 Teaspoon Powdered Cinnamon
~ 1/2 Cup Water
~ 10 Pitted Prunes
~ Frying Pan (10-12 inches)
~ Cutting Board
~ Large Cutting Knife
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 45 Minutes

1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and sauté onions on low heat until translucent, about 10 minutes.
2. Add the chicken, spices and water.
3. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
4. Add prunes and cook for another 5 minutes, until they get soft and soaked with juice.
